Description
KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 – Strategy Consulting – Tool SB3: IT and Cybersecurity supports Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Vienna in identifying vulnerabilities in their IT infrastructure and developing targeted measures to improve IT and cybersecurity. In the Strategy Consulting module, consultations by certified experts are funded, who jointly prepare a detailed status report and plan the next steps regarding data protection, security procedures, and emergency management. Consultations can be conducted digitally, in person, or in a hybrid format and last up to three months. The program finances 50% of the incurred consulting costs – up to a maximum of €1,000 per tool – and relies on a systematic analysis to ensure a sustainable strengthening of IT security.
Eligible for funding are commercial enterprises according to the EU SME definition with a registered office or place of business in Austria, holding an official trade license (GLN), and cooperating with a certified IT and cybersecurity consultant. Applications are possible online from 21.05.2024, as long as budget funds are available. Selection is based on the order of receipt and completeness of the documents. For billing purposes, invoice, consulting report, proof of payment, De-minimis declaration, and feedback questionnaire must be submitted. This offer promotes the digital resilience of Austrian SMEs and contributes to a secure transformation in the digital age.
