Description
Combined SME Loan with Climate Bonus supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as members of the liberal professions and non-profit organizations based in Baden-Württemberg in investments in energy-efficient non-residential buildings. The low-interest loan promotes new construction, first acquisition, and energy-efficient renovation of commercial buildings – and is enhanced for SMEs by an additional repayment grant, the climate bonus. In three program variants (young SMEs, established SMEs, and KDM-Flex), loan amounts between 10,000 and 5,000,000 euros are available, covering up to 100% of eligible expenses (energy-related costs according to BEG/KFN as well as project-related expenses such as land and outdoor facilities). A continuous application option ensures flexible planning periods.
The prerequisite is simultaneous funding through the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG-NWG, BEG-EM-NWG), the federal program “Climate-Friendly New Construction” (KFN), or – in the Flex variant – the Rural Development Program (ELR). The technical implementation must meet the minimum requirements of the federal programs as well as environmental and social standards. Excluded are, among others, systems with EEG/KWKG remuneration, fossil fuel boilers from 01.01.2025, operating and storage financing, leasing, refinancing, silent partnerships, as well as renovation cases or companies in difficulty. Applications are submitted via the house bank; there is no fixed funding period.
