Description

For many years, the Studienhaus Foundation has been supporting non-profit seminars and conferences at the beautiful Studienhaus Gut Schönwag in Bavaria. In cooperation with the foundation, educational institutions, associations, universities, and private individuals can organize events in the fields of science, education, culture, research & innovation, as well as training and further education. The focus lies on providing the historic premises, organizational support, and professional collaboration. The foundation assumes both the content-related and organizational supervision, as well as the publication of selected conference reviews on its website. Seminar leaders and cooperation partners benefit from expertise in topics such as religion and culture, professional support in moderation, and the use of the St. Rochus chapel for devotions. Additionally, an on-site caretaker ensures smooth operations, while participants are accommodated in single or double rooms. Energy costs, final cleaning, and the seminar library are also included in the cooperation package.

Applications can be submitted continuously and are exclusively aimed at non-profit projects that have a clear connection to the foundation’s objectives. Interested applicants should send a description of the conference idea, including the target audience, proposed program, and desired timeframe, by email to the board. A prerequisite is the non-profit status of the event as well as the availability of Gut Schönwag during the requested period. Selection is based on the funding goals, the quality of the concept, and the non-profit status. Required information includes the names and contact details of the applicants, detailed program planning, proof of foundation relevance, and proposed dates. After a positive decision by the board, a cooperation agreement will be drawn up and further planning will be carried out jointly. This funding offer is aimed at organizations and individuals who wish to realize professional exchange and scientific discourse in an inspiring atmosphere.
