Description
The funding supports the full cost coverage for medical treatments, including accommodation and care in day-care and inpatient facilities in Lower Austria. In particular, therapy and care facilities for children and adolescents with cerebral motor disorders or facilities for individuals with addiction are supported. The financial benefit is paid directly to the respective providers and can be applied for continuously. This facilitates access to specialized services for those affected and ensures the continuation of necessary treatments regardless of social insurance coverage.
The target group comprises persons with disabilities as defined in § 24 NÖ-SHG, especially minors with cerebral diagnoses as well as individuals with addiction who require day-care or inpatient care. Eligible applicants are private individuals with Austrian citizenship or comparable status, provided their main residence or permanent stay is in Lower Austria. There is no entitlement if identical or similar benefits are already granted under other legal, statutory, or contractual provisions. Applications are submitted by filing a request with the competent municipality, district administrative authority, or directly with the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government, Department of Finance, F1. By combining therapeutic assistance and accommodation, the program promotes needs-based, continuous care and is aimed at all affected individuals who rely on specialized support services.
