Description
The Creative Industries Project program of the Vienna Business Agency has been supporting the development of innovative products and services in the heart of Vienna's creative industries from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026. The target group consists of existing small and medium-sized enterprises as well as founders active in architecture, design, film industry, art market, fashion, multimedia & games, music industry, or publishing, who have a business location in Vienna. With a maximum funding amount of €200,000 and a funding rate of up to 50%, projects are particularly supported that clearly differentiate themselves from everyday business and demonstrate a high level of innovation. The project duration is a maximum of 24 months, providing ample scope for concept development, prototyping, and market entry.
Eligible costs include personnel expenses, travel costs, external services such as consulting, marketing and sales, as well as investments in technical equipment, machinery, software, licenses, or intellectual property rights. Regular operating expenses are not eligible for funding. An independent jury evaluates submissions based on criteria such as degree of innovation, economic viability, and relevance to Vienna's creative industries. Applications can be submitted on the deadlines of April 30, August 31, and December 31, 2026. To apply, a fully completed funding application, an application confirmation, a de minimis declaration, the latest annual financial statement or income-expenditure statement, and CVs of the project management must be submitted.
