Description

Cultural Youth Promotion, Memorial Site Trips supports non-profit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations in Baden-Württemberg in carrying out diverse extracurricular educational offerings. Funding is specifically provided for youth art schools, study trips to memorial sites of National Socialist injustice, seminars and measures for drug prevention, as well as international youth exchanges. Through this, the program makes a significant contribution to cultural education and the historical awareness of young people. Financing is provided as a grant within the framework of the State Youth Plan (LJP) and according to the regulations of the Youth Education Act (JBG), to ensure low-threshold access for all sponsors. Continuous acceptance of applications creates flexible planning options for project timing and thematic priorities.

Eligible to apply are providers of extracurricular youth work pursuant to § 75 SGB VIII in conjunction with §§ 2, 4, and 12 JBG, as well as public-law corporations and other providers according to the State Budget Plan of Baden-Württemberg. For the application, the forms and working aids for the State Youth Plan as well as the guidelines for the Youth Education Act are required. Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no fixed deadline. The Regional Council of Baden-Württemberg provides advice on funding requirements and application formalities. The goal is to strengthen cultural and social educational projects in the long term that promote historical awareness, contribute to drug abuse prevention, and enable international exchange.
