Description
The funding program Kunst.Klasse. of the Ravensburger Verlag Foundation is aimed biennially at general education schools of all types for grades 3 to 8 in selected federal states. The goal is to enable artistic-aesthetic education without grade pressure and to creatively support students beyond the regular curriculum. Up to €3,500 per project are available for personnel expenses, material costs (materials, tools, media), travel expenses, and room rentals. Projects are funded that impress through innovation, artistic-aesthetic learning offerings, practical orientation, and originality. The project duration is 12 months and begins no earlier than August 1, 2025. The call for applications for Hesse and the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen will start in mid-January 2025.
Eligible to apply are all general education schools that involve their participants in artistic processes both within and outside regular lessons. For the application, a detailed project description, a financing plan, and the official application form must be submitted. The jury, consisting of representatives from art practice, art education, and cultural administrations, selects the outstanding contributions and awards prize money for the realization of aesthetic learning formats. The selected projects will be presented in a final online exhibition and make a valuable contribution to the personality development of the children as well as to strengthening cultural participation in everyday school life.
