Board Membership – OFFSHORE Wind Energy Foundation

The OFFSHORE Wind Energy Foundation offers companies, interest groups, and public institutions the opportunity to join the Advisory Board and thus actively participate in the strategic development of offshore wind energy in Germany. The Advisory Board makes fundamental decisions, supervises and monitors the Executive Board, and promotes cross-sector exchange and networking in the interest of environmental and climate protection. Admissions take place semi-annually based on a formal resolution with a two-thirds majority and a one-time contribution of at least €10,000. Applications must include a completed application form, company data, and the logo for the website. Membership is possible at any time; the next evaluation will take place during the regular Advisory Board meetings.

Member organizations from all areas of the offshore wind energy sector – including operators, manufacturers, suppliers, insurers, and financial institutions – as well as federal and state ministries benefit from exclusive insights into new initiatives, studies, and projects. Flexible exchange formats with management and matchmaking support provide Advisory Board members access to a politically well-connected network. Exclusive information, workshops, and the opportunity to set their own thematic priorities strengthen members’ positions in the dynamic offshore sector. By joining the Advisory Board, participants secure a voice in shaping the Foundation’s direction and actively contribute to achieving the expansion targets for offshore wind energy in Germany.
