Description
Membership in the Advisory Board of the OFFSHORE Wind Energy Foundation grants companies and organizations privileged insights into the cross-sector network of the offshore wind industry. Advisory Board members benefit from exclusive access to strategic workshops, current research findings, and established networking structures at both national and European levels. Through active participation in the Foundation’s decision-making processes, the board can set thematic priorities and advance the further expansion of offshore wind energy in line with environmental and climate protection goals. The Foundation acts as a think tank and advisor to politics, business, and science to promote innovation and strengthen the social acceptance of this key technology.
Eligible for funding are companies, public institutions, interest groups, and associations from all sectors of the offshore wind industry – from plant operators to transmission system operators, manufacturers, suppliers, and maritime service providers, as well as certifiers, insurers, banks, and relevant ministries. A prerequisite for successful admission is demonstrable industry affiliation and an interest in strategic collaboration and active networking within the Advisory Board. An informal application, supplemented by the Advisory Board flyer and the application conditions (PDF), is sufficient to initiate the admission process at any time. The continuously open deadline structure allows for flexible entry into the board and immediate participation in pioneering projects and initiatives in offshore wind energy.
