Description

The Amateur Music Promotion Rhineland-Palatinate strengthens the musical amateur culture in the state through targeted grants for amateur music ensembles, choirs, and music clubs based or active in Rhineland-Palatinate. Beneficiaries of the funding are non-profit associations and interest groups that offer musical-cultural activities to the public. As an ongoing program of the Ministry for Family, Women, Culture and Integration of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, it aims to sustainably expand cultural diversity and broad impact in the amateur sector. Applications can be submitted at any time, with the demonstrated own contribution and financial need being essential evaluation criteria.

Funding is provided for investments in instrument purchase and rental, material costs such as sheet music or supplies, as well as fees for instructors and workshop leaders. A prerequisite for approval is a detailed project description, a meaningful cost and financing plan, and a current extract from the register of associations. For the application, an amateur musical offering that contributes to cultural diversity and enables broad participation is mandatory. The funding approval ensures financial support for non-profit organizations that, through their projects, facilitate amateur musicians' participation in musical events and training. The continuous submission option guarantees flexible planning and implementation of projects throughout the year.
