Agriculture - Subsidies for the acquisition or repair of mechanical equipment

The funding program of the City of Villach supports agricultural and forestry enterprises within the Carinthia city area in the modernization and maintenance of their technical infrastructure. Private individuals, cooperatives, interest groups, associations, as well as machinery cooperatives with their business headquarters in Villach can apply for grants for the acquisition of new as well as the repair of existing mechanical equipment and machinery. The goal is the sustainable strengthening of rural areas through efficient and high-performance management of arable and forest land to ensure the quality of agricultural products and to preserve natural resources such as soil and water in the long term.

Applications can be submitted continuously until no later than December 1 of the year for measures already carried out. Required documents include original receipts and, for disbursements exceeding EUR 1,000, a declaration of compliance with subsidy law obligations. A prerequisite for a funding commitment is a timely submitted application, the availability of budgetary coverage, and the business headquarters being located in the City of Villach. After approval, the subsidies are paid out in the form of cash grants. Proper accounting must be submitted within the specified deadlines to avoid misuse of funds and to prevent possible reclaiming. Financing is provided by Business Group 1 – Administrative Authorities of the City of Villach.
