Description

The city of Villach specifically supports agricultural and forestry enterprises with their registered office in Carinthia through cost contributions towards the vaccination costs of grazing animals. Eligible for funding are natural persons, cooperatives, interest groups, machinery communities, as well as associations whose operations are based in Villach. The aim is to strengthen the infrastructure and animal health in regional agriculture by partially covering the expenses for rabies and piroplasmosis vaccinations. A reimbursement of 2 euros per rabies vaccination and 7 euros per piroplasmosis vaccination is granted, based on a veterinary invoice. In doing so, the city supports the supply of healthy breeding animals and contributes to the sustainable performance of farming enterprises.

The application is submitted online and can be made continuously. Requirements include proof of the registered office in Villach, submission of the veterinary vaccination invoice, and a budget commitment in the municipal budget. If funding amounts exceeding 1,000 euros are claimed, an additional declaration regarding compliance with the conditions of the sectoral subsidy regulation must be provided. The payment must be applied for no later than March 31 of the following year. The original veterinary invoice and, if applicable, the “De-Minimis” declaration must be submitted. The responsible administrative group 1 – Authority Administration documents the application, approval, and accounting in the central subsidy database and ensures transparent control. Thus, the funding guarantees an efficient and timely contribution to animal disease prophylaxis and rural development in Villach.
