Description

The Marburger Mission Foundation offers committed Christians from all over Germany the opportunity to engage long-term in international mission projects. In countries such as Thailand, Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Peru, and Cambodia, the deployment sites promote church planting, diaconal services, as well as theological teaching at universities and local educational institutions. Participants receive comprehensive support from the mission headquarters during their long-term assignment and benefit from cross-cultural networking, member care, and professional development. Through individual vocation counseling, the foundation assists in purposefully applying one’s potential in diaconal services—such as prison ministry or assistance for people with disabilities—as well as in pastoral duties and educational activities.

Funding is provided to individuals aged 18 and over who maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are actively involved in a church or Christian community. Prerequisites include support from the sending community or a personal network, as well as physical and mental health. Flexibility and willingness to serve are expected, as are ideally some initial theological experiences. The complete application includes a photo, a tabular CV, relevant certificates, and the completed application form. Entry is possible at any time: interested parties can use the online form or submit a speculative application. This flexible access opens up diverse opportunities to combine a testimony of faith with diaconal commitment worldwide and to be effective on site in the long term.
