Description

The funding offer is aimed at Thuringian craft organizations such as interest groups or other associations that plan measures for sustainable performance improvement. It supports innovative individual projects and practical state-level performance competitions for young craftsmen to promote technology transfer, energy and climate protection, cooperation, as well as digitalization in the craft sector. Competitions with a minimum number of five participants per trade (exceptions possible) are the focus. The project duration is generally twelve months. A prerequisite for approval is proof of total financing as well as content alignment with the transfer of new technologies, innovations, and sustainability. Formal approval is required before the project begins, so the application must be submitted at least six weeks in advance.

The funding is provided as a non-repayable grant with a funding rate of 70% to 90%, whereby state-level performance competitions are funded up to 90%, and individual projects with outstanding state interest are also funded up to 90%. Recipients of funding can submit expenses for personnel, project-related material costs, social security contributions, rent, materials, printed matter, postage, catering, musical accompaniment, prize money, as well as travel and accommodation costs. Expenses for federal competitions, retroactively incurred costs, or personnel already funded elsewhere are not eligible. An accompanying committee also considers the cooperative character between companies and digitalization aspects as central components for sustainable development. Selection is based on criteria such as innovation and sustainability aspects, cooperative character, degree of digitalization, and relevance for performance improvement. Required documents include the guideline, application and disbursement forms (for individual projects and state-level performance competitions), as well as the proof of use.
