Description
Let’s empower Austria – Funding Call 2025 is aimed at non-profit organizations, public institutions, and companies in Vienna that wish to implement individual projects to strengthen and promote equality for women and girls in STEM fields. Funding is provided for initiatives ranging from mentoring programs and school workshops to awareness campaigns that challenge outdated gender roles and highlight female role models. A special focus is placed on educational and career models for ages 3 to 25, including working mothers, single parents, as well as educational and advisory professionals. The funding amount ranges from €20,000 to €100,000 per project, with a project duration of up to 12 months, starting from June 1, 2026.
The submission period for the online application form runs from November 14, 2025, to February 15, 2026, 11:59 PM CET. The application process includes a project description, budget and work packages, effective evaluation plans, and, if applicable, child protection certificates. A 100% funding rate supports full coverage of personnel, material, and indirect costs. Selection is based on quality, practical relevance, budget efficiency, as well as evaluation and sustainability. The funding body is the Austrian Fund for the Strengthening and Promotion of Women and Girls on behalf of the Ministry for Women’s Affairs.
