Description
The MACHacademy of the Aloys and Brigitte Coppenrath Foundation imparts practical entrepreneurship skills in a ten-week, regionally anchored support program for students from grade 9 onwards, university students of all disciplines, and apprentices. The goal is to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking early on by having participants work on real challenges, validate ideas with the help of mentors, and present their project work within a network of partner companies. Through interactive workshops on topics such as business model development, financing, marketing, and market research, the young talents learn to systematically solve problems, develop innovative concepts, and confidently pitch in front of an audience. A strong practical focus and individual feedback from experienced experts promote both professional and personal growth.
The program is divided into several module series, which, in addition to developing entrepreneurial personality, cover ideation, business plan creation, and financing strategies, among other topics. The conclusion features pitch presentations before a jury composed of funders and partner companies. Evaluation is based on motivation letters, the innovation potential of the project idea, teamwork, and presentation skills. Applications can be submitted continuously via participating schools, universities, or partner institutions in the Osnabrück region. Participation requires an interest in innovation projects and cooperation with a partner institution. As a grant-funded program by the Aloys and Brigitte Coppenrath Foundation, it offers not only learning and practical units but also direct access to an extensive network that supports and connects young entrepreneurs in the long term.
