Description
The EU funding call "Markets & Networking" is aimed at companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions from all EU member states. Its objective is to strengthen the innovation capacity and international visibility of European film and audiovisual markets, as well as to connect professionals and works along the entire value chain. From September 30, 2025, operators and organizers of film and audiovisual markets or networks can submit applications. Funding is provided in the form of grants to support events, networking and cooperation activities, as well as financial support for third parties. Through this, the program contributes to better marketing of European productions, promotes sustainable structures, and relies on innovative technologies such as VR, XR, and AI to enhance competitiveness in global markets.
To apply, a completed project application, a detailed budget plan, and all other attachments according to the call document must be submitted. The submission deadline is January 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM (Brussels time), with the project start possible no earlier than October 1, 2026. Evaluation criteria include innovation aspects, systemic impact, sustainability, and European cooperation. A positive evaluation will lead to the signing of the funding agreement, expected in October 2026. This program offers a unique opportunity to initiate cross-border collaborations, bring European content closer to an international audience, and make the entire audiovisual sector in Europe future-proof.
