My Path to Music (Westenholz Community Foundation)

The grant program "My Path to Music" by the Bürgerstiftung Westenholz is aimed at young people between the ages of 7 and 16 residing in Westenholz who wish to purchase a musical instrument. With a funding amount of €100, the initiative supports the start of a basic musical education and simultaneously promotes voluntary engagement with the Musikfreunde Westenholz. The goal is to inspire young talent musically, alleviate the financial burden of acquiring an instrument, and strengthen the work of the local music club in the long term. Through cooperation with the Musikfreunde, a motivating environment is created in which participants can actively make music and develop their skills together.

Applications can be submitted continuously, as there is no application deadline. Requirements for funding include proof of residence in Westenholz, age between 7 and 16 years, motivation for active participation with the Musikfreunde, and a cost estimate for the desired instrument. To apply, the completed application form, a current proof of residence, and the cost estimate must be submitted. Awards are made based on clearly defined evaluation criteria: age criterion, residence, instrument purchase, and engagement in the club. With this measure, the Bürgerstiftung Westenholz makes a sustainable contribution to the cultural and social development of the region and ensures that young musicians are optimally supported and integrated into the community.
