Membership fee to the EGTC - Euregio without Borders Ltd.

As a cross-border instrument, the annual membership contribution of the EGTC – Euregio without Borders Ltd. strengthens cooperation between Carinthia, Veneto, and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The entity, operating on the basis of a contractual agreement since 27.11.2012, aims to network regional development, agriculture and rural development, as well as foreign trade including trade fair activities. Through coordinated lobbying in Brussels, a joint representation of interests is ensured, which promotes economic exchange as well as innovative projects in rural areas. Public institutions – especially the EGTC itself – benefit from this funding in the form of a grant that covers essential membership fees to establish and consolidate long-term cooperation.

The funding is characterized by its continuity and does not require application deadlines, as contributions are made in a timely manner. Essential prerequisites are the maintenance of membership as well as the determination and approval of the annual contribution amount in the meetings of the presidents. This ensures the financial stability of the institution and continuously expands regional networking. As an instrument of foreign trade promotion, this measure not only supports strengthening cross-border market access but also the presence of the participating regions at the European level. Public bodies and decision-makers can thus initiate cross-border development impulses and fully exploit the potential of joint projects.
