The Mittelstandsfonds Schleswig-Holstein provides equity capital for established medium-sized companies headquartered in Schleswig-Holstein or for companies investing in Schleswig-Holstein. The equity participations can be used to finance investments, revenue growth, equity strengthening, or management buy-out/management buy-in.

Description
The Schleswig-Holstein SME Fund (MSH) provides established medium-sized companies with headquarters or operations in Schleswig-Holstein with equity capital ranging from €750,000 to €2 million. Eligible applicants are companies from all sectors that have generally been in existence for at least five years and demonstrate annual revenues between €10 million and €100 million. The offer primarily includes silent partnerships, and in individual cases also open participations, with a term of up to ten years, whereby gradual repayment is possible from the sixth year onwards. The investment phase runs until December 31, 2037, and applications can be submitted continuously.
The capital can be used to finance growth initiatives such as investments, revenue increases, strengthening of the equity base, as well as management buy-outs/buy-ins. A prerequisite for funding is a demonstrably strong market position as well as existing growth and earnings potential. Pure corporate restructurings and refinancing of existing bank liabilities are excluded. The shareholders include the State of Schleswig-Holstein, the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH), all banking sector groups, and the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Schleswig-Holstein mbH.
