Mobile Social Services - Home Nursing Care, Home Nursing Assistance, Home Help

The funding program “Mobile Social Services – Home Nursing, Home Care Assistance, Home Help” supports, in accordance with the objectives of the state of Carinthia, the qualified care of persons in need of nursing and support within their home environment. As a subsidy measure, it promotes certified providers of mobile social services in Carinthia to enable individuals to remain in their own homes, thereby securing quality of life, self-determination, and social participation. The offer is aimed at people with physical or mental support needs as well as their relatives, who wish to be relieved through professional nursing and care services. The funding is permanently available and applications can be submitted at any time, with the complete documentation to be provided no later than two weeks after the initial consultation.

Applicants must provide proof of a valid care allowance notice as well as a current pension or income statement and have their main residence in Carinthia. A prerequisite for submitting an application is prior contact with one of the contracted providers of mobile services, such as Hilfswerk Kärnten, Austrian Red Cross, Diakonie.mobil, or local care networks. The application is made using a funding application/care agreement, which is submitted together with the other documents to the selected service provider. After positive review and approval by the Office of the Carinthian State Government – Department 5 Health and Care – the funds are paid directly to the providers. This funding instrument makes an important contribution to strengthening health and social care in Carinthia and ensuring needs-based care at home.
