Movember Foundation e.V. – Grow a Moustache

The Movember Foundation e.V. invites individuals and teams from all over Germany to participate in the “Déjate bigote” campaign to sustainably strengthen men’s health. Interested parties register online on the official platform and set up a personal Mo Space, where fundraising goals are established and fundraising activities are documented. During the campaign month, the symbolic mustache becomes an eye-catcher that sparks conversations about mental health and suicide prevention as well as prostate and testicular cancer. As a participation program, “Déjate bigote” connects committed supporters and pools their financial contributions to promote innovative projects in the field of work & social affairs. The participation requirements are straightforward: online registration and acceptance of the terms and conditions are sufficient to become part of the global movement.

The campaign runs for one month each year and offers ongoing funding opportunities, allowing donations to be generated even after November. Only non-profit initiatives addressing the most urgent men’s health issues are supported. By collecting donations within the community, new impulses for research and education arise, which have measurable impacts in clinical practice and self-help groups. The program is equally aimed at dedicated individuals and non-profit organizations who wish to contribute to raising public awareness through their commitment. Registration is possible at any time, ideally before the start of Movember in November. In this way, a powerful alliance is formed for one goal: more quality of life and preventive work for men – with the mustache as a strong symbol of change.
