Description

The free online multiplier training "Climate Change, Wars, Crisis Mode – Empowering Young People for the Future" is aimed at teachers and educators at secondary schools throughout Germany. The focus is on the sustainable promotion of resilience among young people in the face of global challenges such as environmental changes, conflicts, and social uncertainties. Participants gain in-depth insights into psychological mechanisms and are introduced to the proven R.E.S.T.A.R.T.® method, which helps regulate emotions, interrupt rumination processes, and develop new perspectives. Through interactive exercises and background knowledge, solution- and future-oriented thinking is conveyed, and dealing with fears and stress is intensively practiced. The training takes place via Zoom and offers a practical framework to directly integrate pedagogical action strategies into everyday school life.

The funding is provided as a 100% grant without any co-payment required from the applicants. A prerequisite is employment at a secondary school. Registration is possible at any time, with dates for 2026 to be announced in due course. To apply, a simple email indicating the type of school and grade levels to the Stiftung Die Gesundarbeiter – Zukunftsverantwortung Gesundheit is sufficient. Upon receipt of the documents, participants will receive confirmation and access data by email. This training initiative promotes health, education, and social competence and strengthens young people through solution-oriented approaches in dealing with future anxieties. Interested teachers and educators receive a valuable toolkit with this multiplier training to support young people’s psychological resilience in the long term.
