Description
The Bürgerstiftung Hannover strengthens the cultural and musical education of children and young people in the Hannover region through the Music Sponsorships (MUPA). Through a continuously open application process, private grants are awarded for instrumental lessons to enable young talents from financially disadvantaged families to access qualified musical training. The foundation aims to create equal opportunities in the musical field and to support dedicated students regardless of their financial situation. The financial contribution covers the lesson costs for learning a musical instrument and can be granted as a one-time or ongoing subsidy.
Eligible applicants are legal guardians of school-age children and young people residing in the Hannover region who demonstrate their current financial situation and submit the Student and Parent Form (MUPA Application) in full. Proof of financial need is provided by relevant documents, along with the completed form, which can be submitted to the Bürgerstiftung at any time. Awarding is based solely on financial urgency and eligible expenses related to instrumental lessons. This ensures that all selected young musicians receive reliable support and can sustainably develop their musical potential.
