MUT-IG

The MUT-IG program of the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation is aimed at secondary schools in the Landsberg am Lech region and specifically supports female students in the STEM fields of Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, and Technology. Spread over one school year, the project includes 19 practice-oriented project days during school hours and holidays, as well as a total of five two-day internships with regional partner companies. The offer is complemented by specialized workshops, trade fair and exhibition visits that provide direct insights into modern technologies and professional application areas. Individual support for participants up to career choice creates a reliable network of educational supervision, transportation service, and close dialogue with experts from industry and crafts – all with a 100% funding rate and no participation fees.

Educational institutions can apply at any time via a standardized inquiry form and additionally submit consent declarations from legal guardians. Participation is exclusively possible through selected schools, ensuring close coordination between teachers and project coordination. The program duration is twelve months, during which the female students discover their manual and technical talents, strengthen their initiative, and concretize career perspectives. With MUT-IG, young women are encouraged to boldly explore new paths and grow into skilled professionals in STEM careers in the long term.
