National Funding for Regional Development in Tyrol

The program for national promotion of regional development in Tyrol supports the co-financing of project initiatives within the framework of the EU Structural Fund objectives IWB, ETC, as well as the LEADER/CLLD axis, and additionally promotes voluntary partnerships in rural areas. Eligible for funding are public institutions, companies, and non-profit organizations in Tyrol. In the thematic areas of regional development, agriculture, and rural development, a continuously open call is available, allowing applications for grants at any time. This offer aims to strengthen local initiatives, anchor innovative approaches in regional development, and create synergies between EU programs and statewide strategies.

The focus is on institutional project partners who are already involved in approved EU-funded projects or state-initiated measures and can present a professionally positive statement as well as a resolution from the Tyrolean state government. A prerequisite is compliance with the currently valid program regulations and strategic guidelines of the state (for example, the RM 2020 concept). This instrument effectively complements the available EU funds and sustainably implements regional development goals. Through the combination of EU co-financing and national funding, a strong framework is created that supports projects in Tyrol in the long term and promotes cooperation between public and private actors.
