Description
The Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV) supports pilot and demonstration projects in the field of sustainable mobility through the second phase of the National Innovation Program for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP II). The goal is the market introduction of mobile hydrogen and fuel cell systems to advance innovation and climate objectives. The funding instrument, in the form of a grant, supports projects nationwide that reduce CO₂ emissions in the transport sector with forward-looking technology. Applications can be submitted continuously, allowing startup teams, companies, and institutions to flexibly choose the appropriate time to apply.
Companies, founders, research institutions, and public bodies are eligible to apply, provided their headquarters or place of business is located in Germany and the project demonstrates a verifiable own contribution.
