Description
NicK – Nachwuchsinitiative chancengerechte Kitas offers students of early childhood education across Germany a practice-oriented supplementary program for personal and professional development. As an award of the Klaus Murmann Study Support Foundation, the program is aimed at those who have already been recognized as scholarship holders of the Study Support Foundation and wish to prepare for their role as future specialists and leaders in early childhood education. The focus is on promoting equal opportunities in day-care centers: Through workshops, networking events, and experienced mentors, pedagogical action competence is strengthened. Participants gain insights into innovative educational approaches and train key skills such as project management, moderation, and team leadership. At the same time, the program fosters personal development by providing space for reflection, exchange, and individual coaching.
The initiative is supported by the Foundation of German Business and carried out in cooperation with aim – Academy for Innovative Education and Management Heilbronn-Franken as well as the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS. Applications are only possible through the Klaus Murmann Study Support Foundation and require enrollment in a corresponding degree program. The application period begins on January 12, 2026, and ends on March 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CET). Interested scholarship holders prepare with NicK for their entry into responsible roles in everyday day-care center work and network with like-minded individuals to jointly shape children’s educational biographies in a sustainable way.
