Description
The Nikolaus Forum at the St. Nikolaus-Stift Vocational College in Kloster Füssenich, North Rhine-Westphalia, is aimed at professionals in the social and healthcare sectors who wish to deepen their skills through practice-oriented workshops, symposia, and lectures. In the 2025/2026 school year, events will cover topics such as the Marte Meo method, theater pedagogical approaches for daycare centers and youth welfare, psychomotor exercises using everyday materials, as well as creative collage techniques. Each module offers in-depth insights into theory and practice: they promote interdisciplinary communication, convey innovative methods, and strengthen pedagogical skills. The participation fee is uniformly €10 per event, with registration possible up to two weeks before the seminar begins.
The focus of the Nikolaus Forum is the sustainable qualification of educational and therapeutic professions to meet the growing demands in institutions ranging from daycare to youth welfare and senior care. Participants from fields such as education, social work, and occupational and physiotherapy receive current impulses to optimize the bridge between formal education and professional practice. Ongoing funding opportunities allow for flexible planning of individual continuing education paths. Through a network of experts and colleagues, space is created for exchange and networking.
