Lower Austria Follow-up Funding KLAR!

The Lower Austria Follow-up Funding KLAR! supports public sponsoring organizations of the Lower Austrian climate change adaptation model regions in the continuation phase with a one-time grant of €1,000 per municipality. The aim of this follow-up funding by the State of Lower Austria within the framework of the KLAR! program of the Climate and Energy Fund is to further consolidate participation in regional climate protection and environmental measures after the concept and implementation phase and to promote cooperative solution approaches on site. The thematic focuses are climate protection, environmental/nature conservation, and energy efficiency, whereby the program accepts applications at any time due to its ongoing funding opportunities. Public institutions, especially municipalities, benefit from this grant, which is specifically intended to increase motivation and advance local adaptation strategies to climate change.

Eligibility for funding requires membership in the continuation phase of the KLAR! program. Furthermore, the funding provider, the State of Lower Austria, must be named on the internet platform of the respective model region and the state logo must be used. A prerequisite for the grant is the submission of a fully completed funding application as well as the presentation of an annual report by October 31 of the respective year at the latest. Applications can be submitted at any time without a deadline. With this funding, the State of Lower Austria sends a clear signal for long-term climate adaptation and strengthens cooperation in regional networks to continuously further develop sustainable measures in the municipalities.
