Lower Austria Project and Organizational Funding for Youth

Lower Austria Project and Organizational Funding for Youth is aimed at all youth organizations active in Lower Austria as well as informal groups of state citizens under 25 years of age who wish to implement projects and organizational activities. As direct grants, the funding enables the realization of diverse initiatives in the fields of children and youth as well as work & social affairs. Special emphasis is placed on the regional connection – either in terms of content related to the federal state of Lower Austria or with regard to the origin of the participants. The continuous submission possibility since March 1, 2020, ensures that the funds can be used flexibly and according to needs. After review, the payment is made immediately and without additional costs for the applicants.

For approval, an informal application must be submitted along with a detailed financing plan. Eligible for funding are both registered interest groups and associations as well as private individuals, provided the age limit of 25 years is observed and the activities can be assigned to the Lower Austrian context. The Office of the Lower Austrian State Government, Department of Social Affairs and Generational Promotion (GS5), reviews the appropriate use of funds and monitors compliance with the requirements. Through the uncomplicated, ongoing application deadline without an end date, committed actors can continuously realize their youth-related projects and thereby make a sustainable contribution to the social and cultural life in Lower Austria.
