Description

The Nürnberg Scholarship of the FALK Foundation for Health and Education is aimed at exceptionally talented and committed students of all disciplines at five recognized universities in Nuremberg. Within a funding period of up to 42 months, the scholarship recipients receive a monthly allowance of €450 for discretionary use as well as a one-time sum of €1,000 for study materials. A prerequisite for application is a standard period of study of at least four semesters remaining, as well as proof of good academic performance and social engagement. The non-material support includes regular exchange meetings, events in summer and winter, as well as the opportunity to participate in social committees and contribute one’s own project ideas.

Applications must be submitted by January 15 for the summer semester and by July 15 for the winter semester. The application form must be accompanied by a tabular and a detailed CV, the university entrance qualification certificate, a certificate of enrollment, and a one-page letter of motivation. Selection is made by an independent committee based on professional qualifications, personal values in line with the foundation’s objectives, and demonstrated social commitment. The scholarship aims to enable in-depth study and to promote preparation for future social and professional responsibilities in the spirit of freedom, justice, and solidarity. Alumni remain connected to the FALK Foundation network even after their first professional qualifying degree and benefit from advanced certificates and joint programs.
