Description
Object Funding and Project Funding in the Department of Supported Living of the Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW) enables non-profit organizations in Vienna to receive ongoing support through grants. Funding is provided on the one hand for the operating costs of facilities in the areas of homelessness assistance, supported living for people with disabilities (fully and partially supported), as well as basic care, and on the other hand for time-limited or one-off projects in these fields. The goal is to ensure the ongoing operation in accordance with the provisions of the FSW’s General Funding Guidelines on a long-term basis while simultaneously implementing innovative measures for social participation. Eligible for funding are sole proprietors, legal entities, partnerships with partial legal capacity, and working groups (ARGE) that operate corresponding facilities or initiatives within the scope of their non-profit activities.
Applications can be submitted at any time (valid since 01.01.2014, indefinitely usable) and must be made in writing with legally binding signature. Required are the application for object and project funding as well as the FSW General Funding Guidelines, additionally documents relating to concept, organization, personnel, as well as commercial and official evidence. Grants cover both the costs of ongoing operations and project-related material and personnel expenses. Approval depends on compliance with the funding guidelines, the economic and personnel capacity of the applicants, as well as a needs-based orientation. Through this combined funding, the program makes a significant contribution to the stability and further development of the social infrastructure in Vienna.
