Description

Object Funding and Project Funding in the Field of Care and Support offers non-profit providers in Vienna a continuous grant opportunity to support both the ongoing operation of care and support facilities as well as time-limited or one-off initiatives for people in need of care. Eligible to apply are sole proprietors, cooperatives, foundations, public institutions, legal entities, companies with partial legal capacity, and working groups (ARGE) that provide care and support services within the framework of a non-profit objective. The funding goal is to increase supply security and to implement innovative projects aimed at improving quality of life and quality of care. The FSW – Fonds Soziales Wien as the funding agency provides its General Funding Guidelines as a basis and places special emphasis on the cost-effectiveness, economy, and appropriateness of the requested measures.

Primarily ongoing operating costs and project-related material costs are funded. A prerequisite for a grant commitment is a written application with legally binding signature as well as the completeness of all required documents according to the funding guidelines. These include a detailed concept, organizational and personnel documents, financial evidence, and official documents. The evaluation is carried out by subject matter experts of the Fonds Soziales Wien, who conduct an individual review within a reasonable timeframe based on the submitted documents. Since applications can be submitted at any time, project and provider managers have flexible opportunities to further develop their offerings according to needs and to contribute sustainably to strengthening the Vienna care and support system.
