Description
Project Funding for Integration in Tyrol supports non-profit initiatives in the fields of migration, social affairs, engagement for social cohesion/democracy, as well as work & social issues. The program aims to enable people with a migration background to participate equitably in key areas of social life and to actively implement the guiding principle "Strengthening the common good and belonging." Applicants may be private individuals, associations, initiatives, educational institutions, foundations, or public bodies based or established in Tyrol, provided the project is non-profit and meets the content requirements of the integration guidelines. Funding is granted for integrative educational and counseling services, studies to provide foundational knowledge for expert work, as well as measures with a direct and sustainable integration focus. Special emphasis is placed on diversity, gender aspects, violence prevention, and protection against violence.
Applications must be submitted electronically via the online form before the start of the funded measure; a continuous submission deadline applies until December 31, 2029. A prerequisite for approval is largely secured overall financing, a verifiable contribution of own resources, and compliance with all legal requirements. The funding amount is determined in the approval notice as a non-repayable grant—either as a one-time or multiple payment. The application must include: a detailed project description with cost calculation, evidence of requested, already approved, or granted funding, the signed checklist "Violence Prevention," and for first-time applicants, an extract from the association or company register including statutes. This approach aims to sustainably anchor impact-oriented integration projects in Tyrol.
