Description
The Eco Bonus Grant (Residential Building Renovation) in Tyrol offers private owners a one-time, non-repayable funding contribution for thermal-energy renovation measures. The aim of this funding is the sustainable improvement of the energy efficiency of residential buildings through the enhancement of the building envelope and technology. Ideally, all relevant components should be considered: at least three of the following elements must be renovated together – facade, windows, insulation of the lowest floor ceiling, roof insulation, or an energy-relevant building services system. The funds are continuously made available and can be applied for simultaneously with the residential building renovation application or up to the final accounting. The measure promotes both climate protection and the long-term preservation of the value of existing properties in the state of Tyrol.
Prerequisites for granting the Eco Bonus, in addition to submitting the application within the specified deadline, include compliance with the maximum allowable annual heating energy demand per m² of conditioned gross floor area according to the OIB guideline. Furthermore, an existing funding (one-time grant or annuity subsidy) for a comprehensive renovation must already be in place. Eligible expenses include, among others, costs for facade renewal, window replacement, insulation work on the basement ceiling and roof, as well as investments in modern building services systems. For the application, Form A5 – Residential Building Renovation and Form F28b – Final Accounting are required. Interested owners can obtain comprehensive information at the submission offices of the Tyrol Housing Promotion and inquire there about all details regarding the application process and further procedures.
