Description

The Open Research and Doctoral College "Leadership" of the Leadership Culture Foundation offers an innovative, part-time postgraduate program for the targeted qualification of prospective doctoral candidates. Over a period of 36 months, interdisciplinary modules on "Scientific Principles," "Scientific Foundation," and "Scientific Bridging" are conducted in small seminar groups (max. 15 participants). Experts from universities and research institutions impart methodological fundamentals, organize symposial formats, and promote interdisciplinary exchange. An optional certificate course deepens central scientific-theoretical content and concludes with a scientific thesis as well as an oral examination (Rigorosum). Financial support is provided as a grant totaling €16,200 and extends over the entire qualification period. Since the program is advertised nationwide, university graduates from all disciplines interested in pursuing a doctorate benefit from the proven structures of the Leadership Culture Foundation.

Applicants must demonstrate employment and a university degree as well as willingness to participate in on-site and online seminars. Continuous application submission allows entry at the certificate course start dates in January, May, or September. For a complete application, the following must be submitted: a tabular CV with photo, proof of degree and grades, a letter of motivation, and a maximum two-page outline of the planned dissertation. The doctoral college is particularly aimed at committed professionals who seek to pursue a scientific thesis within the scope of their research competence and wish to rely on comprehensive supervision and methodological support.
