Offensive "Most Apprentice-Friendly Federal State Salzburg"

The initiative “Most Apprentice-Friendly Federal State Salzburg” is a funding program by the Salzburg Alliance for Growth and Employment, aiming to develop Salzburg into the most attractive federal state for apprentices. The focus is on short- and medium-term implementable measures such as establishing a coordination office, creating an informative website, developing a comprehensive career orientation strategy, as well as targeted networking and appreciation activities for trainers. As a grant program in the fields of training & further education and education, the initiative creates favorable framework conditions and allocates budgets for accompanying measures to sustainably strengthen apprentice training. Since 01/01/2014, funding applications can be submitted at any time; thus, the program ensures continuous support for committed project ideas in the federal state of Salzburg.

Eligible for funding are associations, companies, or other organizational entities with headquarters in Salzburg that implement projects according to the action plan “Most Apprentice-Friendly Federal State.” A prerequisite for a grant is the integration of the project proposal into the aforementioned action plan as well as a fully completed funding application including a detailed concept of the funding subject. The continuous funding opportunity without a fixed end date allows flexible planning and implementation of innovative approaches to career orientation and apprentice promotion. Through the clear structure of application, selection, and financial support, partners from business and civil society are encouraged to sustainably increase the attractiveness of training in the federal state of Salzburg.
