Description
The flat-rate funding from Aktion Mensch supports inclusive holiday trips nationwide to enable children, adolescents, and young adults up to 27 years old to participate fully in leisure activities. Non-profit organizations that conduct openly advertised trips and take the wishes of the participants into account can apply for grants. The goal is to realize inclusion from the outset and to promote encounters between people with and without disabilities. The measure is expressly aimed at project partners who design their offerings to be barrier-free and needs-oriented.
Funding conditions: Aktion Mensch covers the daily flat rates for accompanying persons at 100% – up to a maximum of €400,000 per year and project partner. Per day, up to €80 is funded for accompanying persons of participants with disabilities and up to €50 for accompanying persons of participants without disabilities. A minimum trip duration of five days is required; excluded from funding are closed participant groups, day trips without overnight stays, and overnight stays in the participants’ home area. Applications can be submitted continuously; prior securing of own funds is not required. Interested non-profit organizations can submit an application at any time and thus realize inclusive experiences for young people.
