Description
The EU initiative "Perform Europe" invites non-profit organizations, companies, public and educational institutions to submit a project in the field of performing arts. Funding is provided for individual projects that develop sustainable touring models within the framework of at least 25 sub-projects, strengthen inclusive structures, and implement fair remuneration systems for artists and professionals. The focus is also on digital distribution channels and capacity building to intensify cross-border collaboration. The selected consortia must demonstrate broad sectoral, sub-sectoral, and geographical representativeness and prove financial as well as operational capacities in accordance with the requirements of the EU Member States. By the submission deadline on January 15, 2026, 17:00 CET, the approved application form, a detailed project description, budget table, CVs of key personnel, and a consortium agreement must be submitted. The total funding amount is €2 million as a non-repayable grant.
Evaluation criteria include innovative concepts for green transition and inclusion, the quality of the consortium structure, and the potential for long-term, cross-border cooperation within the EU. Additionally, reporting, data collection, and communication strategies are considered to document and disseminate results and best practices. The call was published on October 30, 2025; evaluation is scheduled for February to March 2026, with applicants being informed in July 2026 and contract signing in October 2026. The program aims to set new impulses for the European cultural landscape through sustainable, diverse, and balanced tours, making artists visible and ensuring fair remuneration.
