Description
The Carinthian Nursing Training Grant supports private individuals who are pursuing training in the health and social sector in Carinthia. With a one-time subsidy, an additional financial incentive is intended to encourage taking up nursing professions such as health and nursing care, nursing assistance, nursing specialist assistance, home help, or specialized social care. As an ongoing funding opportunity since September 1, 2022, it offers the chance to submit applications annually by October 31 at the latest, thereby reducing training costs. The measure promotes both the health sector and the fields of education & training, social affairs, as well as work & social affairs in Carinthia.
A prerequisite for the grant is an active training relationship with a recognized institution in Carinthia, for a maximum duration corresponding to the statutory minimum training period. Participants receiving benefits under the AlVG or AMSG, as well as persons employed by KABEG within the framework of nursing specialist assistance, are excluded. For multi-year training programs, a current school attendance or enrollment confirmation must be submitted annually. The application is made online with the completed form, the signed acknowledgment, and the confirmation of enrollment. Residency in Carinthia is not mandatory. The subsidy provides tailored relief to trainees and strengthens the nursing profession in the region.
