Description
The funding program "Act Preventively – Living Protection Concepts" is aimed at all interest groups, associations, non-profit organizations, public institutions, and companies in Baden-Württemberg that work with children and adolescents. The goal is the development and sustainable implementation of individual protection concepts in child and youth work to prevent abuse and to strengthen both full-time and volunteer staff. Applications for the financing of external consulting (Application A) can be submitted until 28.02.2026, applications for staff increases and/or freelance personnel (Application B) until 31.07.2025. Institutions with an operating permit according to § 45 SGB VIII are excluded.
Funding is provided, among other things, for external consulting costs, personnel costs, travel and training expenses, as well as a flat-rate administrative allowance. Non-eligible are any acquisition costs, special payments, consulting for one’s own organization, and double funding. The amount of funding depends on the respective project and local customary costs; there is no fixed upper limit. Prerequisites for application submission are the completed application form (A or B), a current offer from a qualified protection concept consultant, and their self-disclosure. The funding period ends on 28.02.2026; invoices must be submitted by 31.01.2026. The funding establishes structural improvements that contribute to the long-term protection of children and adolescents and enhance the quality of institutions in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
