Description
The Maria Hilf Warstein Foundation supports up to five medical students from the 6th semester onwards, residing primarily in Germany, for a 30-day clinical traineeship in general practitioner offices in the cities of Warstein and Rüthen during the period from August 31 to September 30, 2026. The aim is to strengthen primary care in the region through financial and organizational support. The sponsored trainees will receive free accommodation in a shared residential unit within the city of Warstein as well as a mobility allowance of up to 500 euros. Participation requires completion of the 5th semester, completion of the traineeship within the catchment area of the mentioned cities, and submission of a signed participation agreement and the application form for the mobility allowance by June 30, 2026.
During the traineeship, participants actively work within the practice team and benefit from diverse medical workshops, exciting excursions, and joint leisure activities that promote exchange among each other. The Economic Development Agency Kreis Soest GmbH serves as a fixed organizational contact before, during, and after the traineeship and ensures a smooth process. Selection is made on a first come, first served basis, so early registration with complete documents is recommended. The program offers an ideal opportunity to gain practical experience in general medicine, build personal networks, and discover the attractive leisure and recreational opportunities between Münsterland and Sauerland.
