Description
The project “Migrants as Professionals in Youth Work” by the European Youth Education and Meeting Centre Weimar Foundation offers a diverse nationwide portfolio of over 70 target group-specific workshops. Educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and public agencies can book these training offers at any time through a simple online inquiry form—completely free of charge and without additional fees. The workshop topics cover key areas such as political education, anti-discrimination, diversity, empowerment, as well as democracy and sustainability education, and are tailored to specific target groups as needed. Thanks to the modular design, content can be flexibly combined to ensure tailored qualification of people with a migration background and to strengthen them as professionals in non-formal youth work.
Schools in particular, non-formal educational providers, and multipliers in youth work benefit from this funding offer. The workshops not only promote intercultural competence and democratic coexistence but also strengthen the self-confidence of young participants and open up new perspectives for social engagement. Booking is possible at any time: after completing the inquiry form, individual consultation meetings are arranged to coordinate content, scheduling, and framework conditions. Through this project, the EJBW Foundation sustainably supports social cohesion and makes an important contribution to the professionalization of youth work by empowering professionals with and without a migration background.
