Project and Program Funding of the Gabriele Fink Foundation

The Gabriele Fink Foundation supports non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public bodies, as well as interest groups and associations throughout Germany with grants for the development of innovative projects at the intersection of culture and education. The aim of this ongoing funding is to create equitable educational opportunities and to strengthen the social participation of children and young people. The focus is on programs that promote the self-confidence as well as the communicative, social, and creative skills of the target group while simultaneously encouraging critical thinking. The inclusion of cultural activities opens up diverse approaches to sustainably support young people from preschool age to adulthood in their personal development.

The foundation particularly addresses initiatives that make a sustainable contribution to democratic cohesion and raise awareness among young people about societal issues. Measures from the fields of vocational & further education, culture & media, as well as work & social affairs, which operate through interdisciplinary cooperation with other civil society actors, are supported. Applications can be submitted at any time; decisions on grants are made promptly based on the substantive quality and the significance for promoting social participation. Through this continuous support, the Gabriele Fink Foundation contributes to networking actors in the education and cultural sectors and thus promotes the development of creative potential among young people in a democratic society.
