Description
The ME Saar Foundation supports project-based initiatives in Saarland in the areas of education, science & research, as well as art & culture. Funding is provided to non-profit organizations, educational institutions, companies, private individuals, start-ups, foundations, public institutions, interest groups, and other associations that strengthen the common good with their initiatives. Applications can be submitted continuously and at any time in writing, preferably by email. The funding is provided as a grant to realize ambitious projects that have a sustainable impact and enrich the cultural, scientific, and educational-political life in Saarland.
The selection of projects to be supported is based on clearly defined criteria: project quality and relevance, transparency of the financing plan, and a coherent public relations concept. The following documents are required for the application: project title, information about the sponsors or contact persons including contact details, project duration, short and detailed description, detailed financing plan (total volume, outstanding and requested amount), information about other funders, as well as planned public relations measures. Each application must be dated and signed by the responsible person. Since there are no fixed deadlines, early submission is recommended to allow sufficient planning time and increase the chances of funding.
