Project Funding of the Amanda Erich Hansjürgen Neumayer Foundation

The Amanda Erich Hansjürgen Neumayer Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and public agencies throughout Germany through project-based grants in the areas of education & upbringing, charitable activities, youth & elderly care, as well as arts & culture. With the aim of strengthening social cohesion and promoting equal opportunities, both innovative and proven initiatives are funded that target socially disadvantaged individuals, children, families, and cultural initiatives. The foundation’s work is guided by the principles of participation, inclusion, and respectful coexistence, and it strategically invests in educational and cultural projects as a foundation for future-oriented community development.

The foundation’s online application portal is open around the clock for submissions. Only projects from nonprofit institutions with a valid tax exemption certificate pursuant to §§ 51 et seq. AO in the specified thematic areas are eligible for funding. Required documents include a detailed project description and proof of nonprofit status. Shorter processing times are achieved through early submission, as thorough review and written funding approval take place. Any changes to the proposed project must be reported immediately to ensure binding use of funds. There is no legal entitlement to funding – the decision lies within the foundation’s discretionary authority.
