Description
The Citizens' Foundation Paderborn supports charitable project initiatives in the city of Paderborn throughout the year with financial grants. Initiatives in the areas of youth and elderly care, welfare, sports, as well as culture and media are funded. Eligible for funding are, in addition to non-profit organizations, companies, educational institutions, start-ups, cooperatives, interest groups, and private individuals with their registered office and project implementation in Paderborn. Selection is made taking into account the contribution to the common good, the sustainability impact, and possible cooperation with other initiatives. Target groups include all persons and groups who directly benefit from the measures – from children and youth to seniors and civil society alliances.
For application, only the form provided by the foundation may be used, to which a project description, a financing plan, and a current tax exemption certificate from the tax office must be attached. Applications can be submitted continuously, so neither fixed deadlines nor external links are required. Upon a positive decision, a grant in the form of a non-repayable subsidy is awarded. Recipients of funding commit to reporting promptly on the project progress and completion and to proving the appropriate use of funds through documentation. The Citizens' Foundation reserves the right to inspect funded projects on site and is available for consultation in case of inquiries. This creates a sustainable network to strengthen social, cultural, and sporting offerings in Paderborn.
