Description
The project funding of the Buhck Foundation is aimed at non-profit initiatives, associations, and organizations in the Hamburg-Bergedorf, Stormarn, and Herzogtum Lauenburg regions. Projects promoting the social integration of people with a migration background and nature-oriented environmental education are supported. The focus is primarily on projects that impart sustainable environmental awareness to children, youth, and multipliers while simultaneously strengthening participation and democratic engagement. The foundation supports both smaller formats for direct implementation as well as more extensive concepts that, in cooperation with schools, daycare centers, or local alliances, provide a measurable added value for the community.
Funding applications can be submitted continuously and are divided into three levels: small grants up to €1,500, medium grants between €1,500 and €5,000, and large projects over €5,000. For large applications, submission at least three weeks before the board meetings is required, while smaller applications can also be approved between meetings. In addition to a concise project description, a detailed financing plan and the current exemption certificate must be attached. The decision is based on the alignment with the thematic priorities of integration and environmental education as well as the regional anchoring of the projects.
