Description

The project funding of the Hans-Joachim Hoffmann Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations and initiatives in Lower Saxony that are engaged in the field of hospice movement and palliative medicine. With uncomplicated grants, the foundation particularly supports regional outpatient hospice services and palliative initiatives in improving the care of terminally ill people and their relatives. Eligible for funding are projects that develop compassionate services in care facilities, clinics, or home environments, thereby contributing to strengthening dignified and resource-oriented palliative care. Funding is provided on an ongoing basis; applications can be submitted at any time; close coordination for individual needs planning is encouraged.

As a non-profit institution, the Hans-Joachim Hoffmann Foundation aims to sustainably improve quality of life at the end of life and to establish the hospice philosophy nationwide. The grants flow directly into projects for the qualification of volunteer staff, the establishment of mobile support services, or the development of innovative care models. Only non-profit organizations from Lower Saxony that can demonstrate their statutory purposes in the hospice and palliative care sector are eligible for funding. Through continuous awarding authority and individual consultation, the foundation supports initiatives that practically and sustainably optimize the framework conditions for humane end-of-life care.
